Antenna design is often a challenging task owing to the sensitivity of the pattern and impedance performance to physical parameters.

In this presentation, you will learn how to use optimization methods to design an antenna, explore a wide range of geometrical properties, and define multiple objective functions. We will further improve the performance of the optimization process by using surrogate models and parallel processing.

At last, we will compare the antenna performance with actual measurements, and visualize the coverage on a 3D terrain map.
